Don,t hold your breath waiting for O.T.A. or cable. Comcast currently has a severe shortage of good programers and technical people in my opinion.

I think you might be a bit unfair in your statement (I'm just another customer). UHD and 4K require more security due to the MPAA requirments and that is most probably why comcast is moving to the mpeg4 format and soon to make other security updates like DoCSIS 3.1 conversion. The UHD/4k+ data has to be protected at all times from being recorded (pirated). Comcast has been testing a UHD set top box for a while now. (they call them xi4 and xi5 with some wrting saying that the xi4 will not be issued to customers skipping to the xi5, but time will tell).
