The prior postings did not say "control" your TV from the new website. You still can simply view the TV schedule, etc from your home PC (and possibly your mobile devices) w/o any additional charge.
I have prieviously posted that it would be nice of Comcast to tweak the new site to return the ability of simply just scheduling home recordings from your home PC like before w/o additional charges.
I don't use mobile devices or TvGo ...... However if you do, I believe you can pay a new extra $10/mo fee to schedule recordings while away from home on your mobile device which seems to be the biggest complaint stoking this thread.
why can't the web site tv.xfinity.com not schedule a home recording (on x1 would be home and cloud DVR in a mirror-like mode)? there is no cost for the cloud DVR if you are paying on the bill for a separate charge for a DVR.
