I believe that Fox News and the Fox network have nothing to do with each other (except, of course, being owned by the same people). I have never noticed any Fox News programs being aired on the local Fox station.
I think there's just a handful of shows that are broadcast first on Fox on the weekend and then replayed later the same day on Fox News. Fox News Sunday with Chris Wallace is just one. If you use the guide, go to the channel your local Fox affiliate is on, find the show, press record and set up your series recording there. In the guide it's actually set as "New".
This started for me on monday I think. didn't record for 3 days then got one then no more. the priority is far down my list but i have 3 dvrs (18 tuners) and no way to fill those
