But honestly your best bet is to just call and post over and over again until you can get a tech to come out. I had a new version downloaded manually (failed and i was locked out of the local page of my owned arris surfboard). After successful firmware update i was in the power on/off cycle. Called back in one of the menu choices was to reset modem so I selected it. next 'boot' was the last so that fixed the problem you seem to have described. (SB6141 - white)
That sounds right, I heard that users out of the local modem page due to the maintenance. A simple power cycle would fix the access issue after the update was pushed through. Although I am confused with the last sentence - you had an intermittent connection issue and a reset fixed the problem?
yes (this was after the tech forced upgrade which 'took' this time. from then it was cycling off/on no connection. the phone choice was something like reset but may be passing entitlements - unknown.
