if you are not speaking of on-demand skip this reply.

 

If you are selecting a pay per view ($ is charged to your account) and can't start a program contact 800-comcast and select billing.

 

if you are selecting on-demand, try same episode/asset on a lap/desktop at xtv.comcast.net or using a smart device app for applie/android xfinity TV. If the asset plays there then know that comcast has had issues with x1 playback of on-demand assets that are available but not playable until usually the next day (2nd day after air date). no idea why they can't get that fixed.
