But we have a problem when it comes to the shows we both watch. Then if he watches it the next day when I am not home, he won't delete it because he isn't sure that I have watched it. It ends up with a huge list of saved shows on the DVR that we both Haven watched but were afraid to delete. I am trying to think of an app or something we can put on our phones (shared note or shared document or something) where we can mark off what we have watched. Then, as I watch a show, for instance, if I can see that he's watched it, I know I can delete it (or visa versus). Any ideas? Hoping someone else has come up with a solution. The more options, ideas, or solutions the better because hopefully one will work for the both of us. I am very tech savvy and although he is not, if I set it up and explain it to him, he can usually understand and catch on. Thank you all in advance!!!
with only 2 viewing then the solution is already in place. The recording will appear with "WATCHED" flag in the list of recordings if one has watched it. If you watch one note if it is 'watched'. if already watched then delete after you view it. ditto for hubby.
