I will again ask a tech to come out and see if they can assist me.  I have another issue (want 2 hubs but all 3 people told me Comcast doesn't offer this service but I know it does) but I will post about that on the correct topic.

by 'hub' I think you mean adding 2nd or 3rd DVR? if so, and you are swapping a companion box for an extra DVR (will cost total of $20/month but if you remove a companion that currently costs $10/month the additional amount is only $10/month) you can do that at your local comcast office. The billing department (800-comcast) can check to be sure you are allowed more than one DVR on your account in your area. This used to be a problem but a pervious thread on the forum stated that the 2nd is available to add across the X1 service area. Let us know what they tell you, please.
