It seems fairly straight forward to be able to declutter you guide and eliminate channels that you do not subscribe to. Uverse does this without a problem.
Additionally, Uverse allows several versions of Favorites -- seems like another no brainer, since different family members will have different favorites. Not to mention that a single user may want different clusters of channels.

I'm a customer just like you. I note that comcast has issued new 'features' to teh xfinity TV app where the guide now shows only the channels to which you subscribe. My guess is that that may also be done with the X1 guide listings perhaps as a default or an option. Time will tell.
