normally I use chrome (windows 10 too). because you asked about browsers I tried IE and firefox too. they all did exactly the same thing. to test, I logged in and said keep me logged in check mark. then I closed the browser, then relaunced relaunched it with same URL. each new open showed 'log in' at top right of page. Problem seems to be web page specific if my testing was valid.
